Research

Three primary areas of research

Research in our department is focused on three main areas: Genome Biochemistry, Supramolecular Complexes, and Chemical and Physical Biology. Our incoming graduate Biochemistry students participate in three 5-week rotations and can rotate through over 20 labs, where they receive training from world-renowned scientists.

Our graduate curriculum deliberately includes overlap between these areas of concentration. The distinction between research areas depends on the emphasis of the investigators and their students.
